KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have parted company with defender Lee Ayres.
The 21-year-old joined Harriers as a youth team player following his release by Walsall.
After impressing at the heart of the defence, he quickly progressed through to the reserve side and eventually into the first team where he made his debut against Preston North End in the Worthington Cup three seasons ago.
Ayres became a regular member of the first team for most of last season, chalking up 35 appearances.
He signed a six-month deal with Harriers in June and, despite forcing his way back into the first team squad following the return of boss Jan Molby, he has now been released from his contract.
