NEXT weekend sees the launch of the 8th Cheltenham Folk Festival.
There are numerous attractions to be seen and heard at the three-day event, which is being staged almost exclusively at the town hall.
Highlights include Folk Singer of the Year nominee Kate Rusby, The Old Swan Band, the Phil Beer Band and Nancy Kerr and James Fagan.
The festival, which runs from February 6-8, offers a selection of free workshops, song and music sessions, children's events and dance displays.
Weekend tickets cost £45 for adults, £40 for students and £23 for children aged 11-16.
Daily ticket prices range from £13 to £28.
