DIRECTOR of football Jan Molby admits that organising an 'arrivals and departure' schedule for Kidderminster Harriers is not easy.

The former Liverpool star says he's continually looking to improve his squad as well as trying to get the best deals for players who will be leaving Aggborough like midfielder Sam Shilton who left by mutual consent yesterday.

He said: "We are always on the look-out and we know what we want, but they are difficult to get.

"We want the right type, the type that's going to drive you on. We want leaders whether it's a centre half, a central midfield player or an experienced goalscorer, but they are difficult to come by these days."

He added: "We are always working on things. We are working hard on looking to try and move people on as much for the players' own sake.

"If they are not going to be here next season then if we can find them a new club now then that's what we'll do."

Molby, whose side are in Nationwide League Division Three action at high-flying Oxford United this afternoon, is also keen for Harriers to become a more prolific goalscoring outfit.

He said: "If we'd been scoring goals a little bit more than we have been then we'd have a lot more points, but I just think we have to take it step by step.

"I think if we get the rest of the team right and we start playing a little bit more freely then the goals will come."
