FIREFIGHTERS were called to damp down a fire at a Malvern wine bar after it re-ignited almost five days after the premises was destroyed in a blaze.
The fire crew from Malvern were called out to Don Pedros, in Link Top, yesterday morning following a phone call after smoke was spotted coming from the remains of the building, which was destroyed in a suspected arson attack last Tuesday evening.
"It was a re-ignition and one hose reel dampened down the fire," said a fire brigade spokesman.
"There will be another inspection today to see that everything is under control."
The original fire gutted the bar and the offices of accountancy practice Meigh, Mansbridge and Co.
The practice is now finalising moving into temporary premises in Malvern Link and are hopeful they will be up and running within the next two weeks.
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of arson and have been bailed to return to Worcester Police station while enquiries continue.
