The versatile Gadsby was Ian Britton's first signing after the 2002/03 season, agreeing a one-year contract at Aggborough.
A player with good defensive qualities in the air or on the ground, he did not figure much in a turbulent Division Two campaign for Mansfield who were relegated.
Gadsby had a few injuries but was otherwise a victim of the managerial change which saw Stuart Watkiss replaced by Keith Curle.
He had signed on a free transfer from Walsall where he had been a promising player, figuring regularly in Division One after being involved as a substitute in their 2001 play-off final win over Reading.
League appearances/goals: Walsall (97/98) 1, (98/99) 6, (99/2000) 3, (2000/01) 5, (2001/02) 22, Mansfield (02/03) 20.
This season: 19 games, 8 substitute appearances, 2 goals, 4 yellow cards.
Status: Stomach injury.
