THE wet weather decimated Kidderminster Victoria's programme at the weekend with no games being completed.
In the Birmingham and District League Division One, KVCC firsts' visit to Smethwick was abandoned without a single ball being bowled.
Ten points were shared between the teams ahead of the town's first home game of the season this Saturday with Dorridge (1pm).
So the seconds took centre stage at Chester Road in their Premier Division clash with Knowle and Dorridge.
KVCC managed only 132-9 off their 50 overs as veteran Godfrey Lamb saved them with 44 runs, including two great sixes, on a slow wicket.
Andy Siwicki added 26 and Andy Mason 19 but Knowle's Nigel Moore proved a problem, taking 5-30 in seven overs.
The clash was eventually rained off, meaning six points for KVCC, who head to Old Hill on Saturday, and nine for their opponents.
KVCC 2nds 132-9, Knowle and Dorridge 20-0.
KVCC's Worcestershire League Division Two visit to Pedmore was also abandoned due to the weather.
But an even more bitter blow for the side is the deduction of 20 points after only two weekends of the season for playing an unregistered player.
The rain denied KVCC fourths a second successive victory when they faced Pedmore seconds at Chester Road.
After winning the toss, they invited their visitors to bat first and it proved a good decision as Pedmore were bowled out for 123.
The hosts' opening bowlers Andy Sutton (2-23) and Steve Horne (2-35) maintained a tight line but change bowler Andy Kimberlin pulled up with an injury in his third over.
It was left to veterans Ian Kimberlin (3-5) and Tony Burkes (2-28) to dismiss the visitors with the help of excellent fielding and superb wicket-keeping from young David Wardle.
In reply, KVCC looked to be heading for victory with Martin Roberts (36 not out) and Fern Bagley (12 not out) taking them to 49-0 after 10 overs when the weather intervened, leaving the Wyre Forest club with nine points.
Bagley, at just 15-years-old, is the first female to represent Kidderminster in their long history and she also took a brilliant catch.
Pedmore 123, KVCC 4ths 49-0.
The fifths' fixture with Droitwich Spa at Chaddesley Corbett was abandoned.
