AN open day is to be held in Worcester encouraging sufferers of a debilitating condition to raise awareness of the illness.
The event will take place on International ME Day on Wednesday, May 12.
The open day has been organised by the Worcestershire ME support Group, and will take place at Unity House, in Stanley Road, from 2pm to 8pm.
The support group helps people who suffer not only from ME, but also Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Fibromyalgia (FMS).
The group's annual general meeting will also take place during the event at 5pm, and the guest speaker, occupational therapist Sue Gordon Saner, will give a presentation at 6pm.
Information about the support group is available from Jill Pigott on 01905 455187, Ian Logan on 01886 888419, or www.geocities.com/worcsmegroup/
