DELIGHTFUL dogs which are naturals in front of a camera are being invited to a photo shoot in Worcester.
Superstore chain Pets at Home are inviting people to take their cute canine to its Blackpole Road branch for a free photo session this weekend.
Around 10,000 dogs will be photographed for the competition across Pets at Home's 151 UK stores - with one winner from each store going forward to the grand final to compete for "Pick of the Pooches 2004".
Each store winner will receive a large framed photo of their dog and automatically be entered in next year's grand final.
Manager Joanna Clarke said it should be a busy and fun weekend.
"Every dog is beautiful to its owner, so we expect it to be a busy weekend.
"But it's not only about the best looking, we also want dogs with real character and sparkle," she said.
A photographer from The Dog Portrait Company will be at the Blackpole Retail Park on Saturday, May 8, between 10am and 5pm and Sunday, May 9, from 11am to 4pm.
The photo sessions are free and no appointment is necessary.
Customers will be invited back to store the following week to view their pet's prints for purchase and to enter their pet free of charge, into the competition."
