GOLF: Bewdley Pines junior Dan Ballinger took it all in his stride when he buried a hole-in-one in a stableford competition.
The Kidderminster 15-year-old, who has gone down to a handicap of 12 in around four years, followed up his first-time feat at the 238-yard par-four 13th hole in style.
Laid-back Ballinger, a Wolverley High School pupil, put his next drive within two foot of the hole on a short par-three and completed a birdie.
He finished the contest with 38 points and is certainly well capable of giving the adults a run for their money at Bewdley Pines and Little Lakes where he is also a member.
His mother Janet said: "Dan took it really well. His golf partner was more excited than him!"
Ballinger became interested in the sport through his father Patrick and has been taking lessons with professional Will Grey along with Pines' other talented juniors.
