STOURPORT angler Tom Clark had an excellent time at Furnace Mill Fishery as tench seemed to be the fish to catch.
Using macaroni cheese and fishing from peg 30 on Furnace Pool, Clark caught around 60lb with his best a quality 4lb tench.
A Telford man, fishing peg 88 on Mill Pool, had a mixed catch of more than 200lb of carp and tench with casters his main bait.
Meat and corn were the favoured baits at the Sunday Open which was dominated by anglers from Green Man AC.
The catches were mainly carp taken from the margins and at about eight metres out.
Results, Sunday: Rob Patrick (Green Man AC) 64-8, Richard Brewer (Green Man AC) 62-6, Nobby Clark (Green Man AC) 51-10.
