Eight goals in West Brom's reserve team caught the eye of Harriers director of football Jan Molby who signed Brown on a month's loan in March 2004.
The right-sided midfielder or attacker quickly fitted into Molby's preferred 4-3-3 formation, scoring in his first two games against Lincoln and Hull.
Brown has continued to make an impression with his raw pace and silky skills showing why he was given a professional contract by the Baggies.
He made a surprise appearance on the pitch for West Brom at Blackburn in the Premiership last season but only to warm up with his senior colleagues as he did not make the bench.
This season: 7 games, 2 goals, 1 yellow card.
Status: First-choice forward. On loan until the end of the season from West Brom from March 25.
Average Shuttle rating: 6.9 (2 star man awards)
