HEREFORD United have rewarded two of their young stars with new contracts for next season.
Midfielder Rob Purdie and striker Danny Carey-Bertram have both agreed new one-year deals.
Manager Graham Turner expects to announce decisions on the rest of his squad tomorrow, having met with them yesterday in the wake of their Nationwide Conference play-off semi-final defeat against Aldershot Town.
Turner admits the pain of their promotion hopes being ended in a penalty shoot-out has not gone away, nor has the sense of injustice at defender An-dy Tretton's sending-off.
"The players are still stunned. We always knew there was a possibility we would go out but under the circumstances it makes it harder to bear."
