FIREFIGHTERS swap smoke and flames for suds and washclothes in their latest fundraising venture this weekend.
The Tenbury crew are working at the car wash and turning cars into gleaming mean machines in return for a donation to the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund. They'll be in action at the Palmers Meadow Car Park, by the swimming pool, on Saturday, from 9am until 1pm.
The venture is just the latest fundraiser. Last month firefighters held a dance in aid of the Andy Lloyd Appeal which raised £500.
