THE tennis section of Evesham Rowing Club is running a 'Play Tennis' evening tomorrow as part of the LTA's national initiative.
The event will take place at the club's courts in Abbey Park between 4.30 and 8.30pm and is aimed at raising interest in tennis across a wide range of people.
All ages, from five-year-olds to adults, and standards, are encouraged to come and try the game even if they've never picked up a racquet before!
Among the activities on offer will be free coaching from a professional coach, the loan of equipment, fun competitions and lots of prizes and giveaways, plus free refreshments.
There will also be the opportunity to meet and play with club members and take a tour of the club that also offers squash and rowing.
There is no need to register in advance - just turn up on the evening. For more information contact Sarah Eaton on 01386 710002.
