AN ANNUAL competition in memory of a founder member of the Littleton club was staged last Sunday.
This year's winners were Dave Bartlett, Betty Jelfs and Paul Emms, who managed to relegate the trio of Angie Cotton, Richard Collins and Basil Byrd to runners-up spot.
Victory was even sweeter for newcomer Emms for whom it was a first game outdoors!
Alan Cotton, Paul Dunkley and Wendy Meredith finished third at the end of an event organised by men's section captain and vice-captain John Lynes and Tony Hughes..
The clubhouse is currently undergoing refurbishment and, any one interested in having a look around or having a go on the green, will be made more than welcome.
There's also a club night on Wednesdays when members will be on hand to give budding bowlers help and advice.
