BEN Stockdale, a 14-year-old member of Evesham Wheelers, won both his races at Leam-ington last weekend.
Tom Stockdale (11) finished fourth and 15-year-old Matt Ullmer eighth in the first road race. He then went for victory in the second race but unfortunately broke away too soon and was swallowed up by chasing bunch.
Andy Bolton led the club's A run at a brisk pace through the Littletons, Cleeve Prior, Bidford, Broom , Dunnington, Flyford Flavell then through the lanes via Himbleton to Hanbury for coffee.
John Percival led the B run on a shorter but similar route at a leisurely pace to meet the A run at the coffee stop.
Both runs took a more direct route back basking in the sunshine via Inkberrow and Lenches completing 50 and 40 miles respectively.
Martyn Cole rode the second round of the Veterans National Series of Road Races at Claver-don on Sunday when he finished ninth.
The early part of the race saw lots of attacks on the many short hills and Cole, in only his second race of 2004, was unable to respond every time.
He missed out when a handful of riders went clear and then started his sprint to the finish too early and was passed by three other riders.
On the A5 Rangers N15/25 25-mile Time Trial course on Monday, Adrian Main achieved a respectable time in the dismal weather conditions of 1.13.55.
The fastest man was Roger Iddles of Stourbridge CC in 57.21
This weekend's club run is to Malvern, meet in the High Street at 9am on Sunday.
