A concert in Malvern will raise money for the Plumtree Women's Refuge.
The RSRE Club on Spring Lane is the venue for the concert, featuring 16 singers performing in styles ranging from pop and rock to country.
Organiser and performer Sue Thomas said she was inspired to put the concert together after volunteering at the refuge. She hopes to raise around £1,200.
"They said they were run on fundraising projects and didn't get much money from anywhere else. I though 'what a wonderful way of helping'," she said.
The performers hail from Malvern and Birmingham. A representative from the refuge will be speaking at the event to highlight the work it does.
The concert is on Friday, May 28 at 7pm. Tickets are £4 on the door. For details or to volunteer to help on the night ring 07940 740218.
