DIRECTOR of football Jan Molby believes midfielders Adam Murray and Lee Jenkins can play a key role in Kidderminster Harriers' bid to have a more successful time in the Nation-wide League Division Three next season.
Harriers play last their last game in a disappointing campaign this afternoon when they take on Boston United at Aggborough.
It will bring the curtain down on a season which began with Ian Britton in charge until October when he was sacked and replaced by Molby, who returned to the club's managerial 'hot-seat' for a second spell.
Although there has been no official confirmation that the Dane will be staying with Harriers he has already been dropping hints about his plans for next term.
Among them is building a squad in which Murray and Jenkins can make a major impact.
The former Liverpool star said: "Next season I'm looking towards Jenkins, who has been unlucky with injury, and Murray.
"I also expect big things of Adam with a pre-season under his belt and when he's got rid of a niggly problem with his groin."
Harriers chairman Colin Youngjohns, meanwhile, is planning contract talks with Molby and his assistant Gary Barnett in the near future. "We'll let the dust settle from this season first," said Youngjohns, who is confident the Molby-Barnett combination will again be in charge next term.
Harriers are planning a number of pre-season games with big name sides expected to visit Aggborough while the fixtures for next term will be released on Thursday, June 24.
