HEREFORD United defender Michael Rose has signed for Third Division play-off chasers Yeovil Town on a two-year contract.
The 21-year-old was one of the Bulls most impressive players in their unsuccessful Nationwide Conference promotion quest. The two clubs are currently discussing a fee.
Yeovil manager Gary Johnson said: "Graham Turner turned all offers down originally and rightly so, because he is a good player.
"It's a great signing for us in my opinion. People have known for a while that I have been chasing him for 12 months.
"It's unfortunate that Hereford were so close but didn't quite get into the Third Division when really they should have done.
"Michael is perfect in his football attitude and his personality for us. He has great pedigree, like a lot of our boys here having come from Manchester United as a youngster."
