A DRUG user who stole two bottles of Lucozade from a shop could not remember carrying out the theft.
Mark Simms admitted taking the items, worth a total of £3.16, from Kwik Save, in Evesham High Street, on Tuesday, January 13.
Amer Hussain, defending, told Worcester Magistrates Court yesterday that Simms had no recollection of the incident and how that "may be because he was on drugs at the time".
He added that the 20-year-old, of West Street, Evesham, was now funding his own rehabilitation privately.
Simms was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £55 costs.
