Forty-five police officers and staff from the North Worcestershire force will tomorrow receive commendations for their outstanding contributions.
The awards, which will be presented by Chief Superintendent Mark Howard, are for helping to make North Worcestershire a safer place and include examples of bravery, arrests and securing sentences for serious offenders.
PC Billy Keys is to be commended for his contribution in targeting persistent offenders in Kidderminster town centre.
Over the last 21 months PC Keys has arrested more than 148 offenders, has been actively involved in a further 30 arrests and submitted over 300 intelligence reports.
"It's important that the public see the tremendous work that many of our officers carry out on a daily basis as part of their everyday working lives," said Chief Superintendent Mark Howard.
"Being a police officer is a demanding and challenging role and one that faces adversity from time to time.
"I am proud that these officers are based in North Worcestershire and I firmly believe that they have made a real difference."
