EVESHAM Police have appealed for information after a man sustained head injuries after he was attacked in Abbey Park.
The victim said two men approached him and a colleague and one of them asked if he had any "dope".
He said the other hit him on the head with a hard object, believed to be a bottle, when he replied "no".
He was taken to Evesham Community Hospital where he had two stitches to a cut on his head.
His colleague was not injured.
The incident occurred at around 10pm on Saturday, April 24.
A police spokesman said: "It was extremely dark at the time of the incident and the only description we have is that the men were white and possibly aged between 16 and 22.
"The victim did not recognise his attacker or his companion."
