THE driver of a car who drove around a man as he lay on the road after being assaulted is being urged to come forward.
Two 23-year-old men were attacked as they walked home along Easemore Road after a night out at about 1.20am on Saturday.
Three men and a woman confronted the men before punching them in the face.
One man fell to the ground and the attackers kicked his head.
Police investigating the attack are appealing for a driver, who was possibly in a taxi, who drove around the one man as he lay in the road, to come forward.
The victims were taken to hospital and one was kept in for observation.
The male attackers are white and aged about 17-19. They were wearing sports clothes and one was believed to be wearing a light coloured or white top.
