BROMSGROVE Cricket Club suffered another total washout last weekend with all matches home and away being abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The club's First XI Birmingham and District League division one match with Stratford and National Knockout clash with Hatherley and Reddings were top the main casualites.
The bad weather meant Nick Davies' side have now had both their opening league fixtures cancelled after May 1's match at Kenilworth was chalked off with Bromsgrove on 95-2.
Ground staff worked tirelessly to get the games on but the sodden outfield was too wet.
Captain Davies said: "I'm gutted that the games couldn't go ahead. We were up at the ground really early on both days doing all we could, but the rain on Saturday spoiled things."
The Boars try again this weekend against Wolverhampton in the league this Saturday and the National Knockout replay with Hatherley and Reddings 24 hours later.
Both matches at St Godwald's Park start at 1pm.
All fixtures for Droitwich Spa, Avoncroft, Himbleton and Cutnall Green CCs were abandoned last weekend due to rain.
