HEADLESS Cross under 14s are netting more silver than the proverbial pirate after completing a double double.
The Central Warwickshire Youth Football League team successfully gained promotion and double honours for the second year in succession after being crowned division four champs this term.
In addition the under 14s won the League Shield for the second year running, a competition run between divisions three, four and five.
The final was played in March at Kings Heath against Hampton Sports from division three.
With just one match to go this season the team have won 21 league games scoring 133 goals and conceding just 16.
On Sunday the under 14s put in a five-star performance against second place Mahal winning 5-1 meaning the team are undefeated in the league since September 2002.
The management team Dave Treadgold, Martin Preece, Simon Daniell and Tony Hopcroft would like to thank team sponsors, Rectory Road Fishbar, for their support throughout the season.
