RECENTLY we held the first Antiques Fair in Bromsgrove's Market Hall since the introduction of Sunday parking charges.
There is no reduction for the charges on a Sunday as opposed to the other six days. As usual the Antiques Fair was the main line for reaction from the public - furious and astonished! This together with the possible demolition of the building means fewer people coming into Bromsgrove.
Waverley Fairs is a leader in its field and I submit that as usual we have encouraged other organisations to use what would be an empty building on a Sunday.
Yet again more and more money paid in a rental to the council. Yes - the facility has to be paid for but yet again we are penalised by a gross parking fee.
Given ASDA has this dilemma and their revenue is rather more than ours.
