AN inspirational Droitwich Spa artist is inviting residents to her exciting new exhibition.
Pauline Reed is holding a display of her work entitled 'An Adventure in Mixed Media' at Kidderminster Library until May 22.
The former art teacher decided to organise the exhibition after receiving positive feedback from art lovers following shows at both Bromsgrove and Droitwich libraries.
"A lot of people asked me when I was going to hold another exhibition but unfortunately there is too long a list of artists wishing to exhibit there," said Pauline, of Tagwell Road.
"However, I have just launched my biggest exhibition to date in a beautiful gallery at Kidderminster Library which really sets off my contemporary paintings."
Pauline is now a full-time artist and although she specialises in oil painting she also enjoys experimenting with other materials. Many of her pieces are inspired by nature, with abstract depictions of poppies, sunflowers and foxgloves.
There are 89 paintings at the Market Street library show and all are for sale.
To have a look at some of Pauline's work log on to www.paulinereddartwork.co.uk. For show opening times call the library on 01562 824500.
