Evesham and District AC & Partnership's

ROUND seven of the club's 12-match spring season, sponsored by the Bradford and Bingley Building Society, was fished last Sunday on the Heron Pool at Hillview, Tewk-esbury.

The match also incorporated the second leg of the KSB Challenge Cup against DANA.

The second round of the cup saw the Disabled Club take pole position after a 19 points to 17 win, leaving the weekend winners 40-31 ahead at the event's halfway point.

Frank Lake romped to victory in the league with a top weight of 35.6.0, to see off the challenges of Wayne Panting (33.4.0) and Wayne Palfrey (22.9.0).

Members are reminded that this week's match us at Lem-ington Lakes with the draws as usual at 8am.

The Summer Evening League starts next Thursday, May 20, at Jim's, draw 5pm, fishing for three hours from six.

Evesham Youth AC

CYRIL Thompson topped the weights at last Sunday's third round contest in the Town-send Stillwater Series at the Jubilee Fishery.

The next fixture is the fourth round match Sunday, May 16 on the Middle Pool at Manor Farm. The draw is at 9am with fishing for five hours from 10.

Members are reminded that it's the Evesham and District Association's presentation evening at the Servicemen's Club, Coronation Street tomorrow night from 8pm.

Evesham Jubilee Society

SATURDAY'S Open contest proved a competitive affair with Brian Bennett eventually topping the weights.

It's the members only Cent-enary Trophy at The Fishery on Saturday with the draw at 9am and fishing for five hours. Members are asked to confirm their attendance to an officer.

The presentation night takes place next Friday, May 21, from 7.45pm at Hampton WMC.
