D E MARGRETT bemoans "many parts of Worcester no longer have a bus service".
He should live out in the sticks - some villages now have only one bus a week.
But we are in the vicious circle. There are fewer passengers, less income and - with the 30 per cent in subsidy - fewer services.
I now find it necessary to own a car again, though I still prefer to sit back and let the bus take the strain. George Cowley never goes out!
ROGER MARTIN,
Evesham.
