CRICKET clubs faced another disappointing weekend with the stormy weather playing a major role.
Birmingham League division two and three sides Studley and Redditch both had their games abandoned as did Feckenham, and Alvechurch and Hopwood in the Crusader Worcestershire League Division two.
Hewell's game against Worcester was also called off because of the weather as was Wythall and Five Ways Old Edwardians.
But one game that did survive the weather was Astwood Bank's visit to Kidderminster Victoria in the Crusader Warwickshire League Division two.
The Bank has played three times this season but this was the first game in which they have actually got out on to the pitch.
And things were looking good for Alex Robinson's men as they notched up 148 for 6 before Victoria scraped together 65 for 8 to the close of play meaning a winning draw for the Bank.
