ENERGETIC youngsters are now starting the morning with a spring in their step with the introduction of aerobics lessons.
Pupils from Wychbold First and Nursery School are put through their paces for six minutes every morning with a mini-aerobics class taken by one of the teachers.
The idea was adopted after the success of the classes in the school's healthy eating week three months ago and has seen fitness levels go up in leaps and bounds.
Headteacher, Eleanor Sinton, said: "The class in the morning is in addition to PE and has proved highly beneficial.
"The children are more wide awake and alert in the mornings and we have also seen fitness levels go up."
