GREEN Party members and supporters will be out on the streets of Droitwich tomorrow (Thursday.)
They will be joined by Chris Lennard, the party's European Parliamentary Candidate for the West Midlands.
Greens are hopeful of gaining a seat here in the European elections on June 10, following their recent electoral successes and their successful campaign to ban GM crops from Britain and Europe.
The Green Party has led the fight for a GM-Free West Midlands, recently presenting petitions to Herefordshire and to Worcestershire County Councils, and playing a part in the GM-Free Staffordshire campaign.
Bayer CropScience announced last month that they were withdrawing plans to grow genetically-modified maize in this country, after Greens in the European Parliament voted to keep in place the moratorium on the commercial growing of GM.
Local Greens will be staffing a Green Party stall in Droitwich from 2pm.
