THE second week of fixtures in the Prudden Road Surfacing League covering the South Warwickshire and District Area, saw Stratford B pull clear after an unexpectedly easy win over Littletons A.
Challengers Studley A, meanwhile, were being held to a draw by Inkberrow A.
Newly promoted Henley A comfortably beat Stratford D 4-0 but Stra-tford C dropped a rubber to FISSC A in recording a 3-1 victory.
Premier favourites Stratford B never looked in danger despite expecting a tougher battle with the Littletons A side.
Callum Bailey and Robert Slatter (Stratford) overcame Dave Rudge and Sean Witheford 6-4, 6-2, before overcoming Andrew Reynolds and Zak Wilson 6-1, 6-2.
Stratford's Tim Page and Jim Harris were even more impressive, beating Reynolds and Wilson 6-1, 6-0, and Rudge and Witheford 6-1, 6-2.
Studley A were held 2-2 by Inkberrow A whose pairing of Graeme Rankin and Andy Woodbridge stopped the opposition in their tracks as they overcame Dave Innes and Gary Jackson 6-4, 6-4.
They then ran out 6-0, 6-3 victors over White and McGregor. However, Keir and Rawlings lost to White & McGregor 4-6, 1-6, and also to Innes and Jackson 5-7, 2-6.
Henley A reversed their 4-0 defeat of the opening week when they powered past Stratford D to post a fine 4-0 victory.
Rob Summers and Jim Turner saw off Stratford's Chris Cotterell and Calvin Stewart 6-1, 6-1 and Phil Hodges and Simon Jarvis 6-1, 6-4.
Dave Howard and Tim Burns (Henley) then overcame Hodges and Jarvis 6-1, 6-0 and Cotterell and Stewart 6-2, 6-4.
The final Premier Division fixture saw last year's champions, Stratford C, restore some of last week's lost pride with a 3-1 win over FISSC A.

There was a Division One clash between two sides who enjoyed 4-0 victories the previous week.
Chipping Campden A entertained Claverdon A, but it was the visitors who walked away with the spoils after a 3-1 success.
Nigel Baker and Pieter Van Hengel did the damage for Claverdon after two three-set tussles, first by defeating Mark Kirkbridge & Rolf Wilson 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, and then overcoming Ken Dawson & Mark Evans 6-2, 1-6, 7-6.
Richard Butler and Andrew Williams (Claverdon) lost to Dawson and Evans 2-6, 3-6, but confirmed their side's victory by beating Kirkbridge and Wilson 7-6, 6-2.
Tanworth moved into joint second spot after enjoying a 3-1 win over Inkberrow B.
