A COUPLE of encounters with Bredon last weekend saw Broadway continue their winning ways in the Concorde League while also progressing in the National Double Rink competition.
On another soggy Saturday, Dennis Hall led the way for Broadway with a convincing 26-9 victory.
He was ably assisted by Mark Rainbow (26-11) and Paul Speake (26-15), while there was also a win for Colin Cooper.
Phil Taylor lost by six shots despite a spirited fightback in the last six ends after which Broadway had recorded a 111-66 victory.

The next morning, Broadway fielded two teams in the Double Rink competition with the A team defeating Pershore A 41-28 and the B squad getting the better of Bredon B 51-26.
Starting off in the rain again, Broadway B raced into a 21-10 lead after ten ends thanks to a strong performance from Rainbow's rink, who went on to win 25-12.
Speake, meanwhile, after being level at 7-7 at halfway, pulled away in the second half to record a 20-14 success.

Broadway A were always ahead against Pershore but, in what proved a closer game, they pressed home their advantage when Colin Cooper picked up a six on the 16th end and Dennis Hall a four on the 18th.
This was too much for Pershore to pull back and they went down by 13 shots.

Two high scoring rinks cancelled each other out as Mick Aubrey romped away to win 31-5 but Brian Ford was on the wrong end of a 37-9 scoreline.
Broadway lost on three of the other four rinks with only Speake beating the County team's manager.
