COOKLEY suffered their second defeat in three games after going down by 57 runs at home to Malvern in Worcestershire League Division Two.
The home team restricted their visitors to 180-5 in a rain-reduced game at Lea Lane.
But they were never in the hunt during their reply, despite good knocks by Lee Shewry (33) and Matt Goode.
Malvern 180-5, Cookley 123.
The seconds' fixture at Malvern was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
