STOURPORT'S first and second team games with Feckenham were victims of the weather on Saturday.
The Worcestershire League Division Two fixtures were both called off early in the morning but there was some action on Sunday.
Stourport U-14s contested a close exciting 20-over match with their Kidderminster Victoria counterparts at Walshes Meadow.
Chasing 113 to win, Stourport finished just three runs short but with only three wickets down.
Matt Williams, who took a great catch during the KVCC innings, hit a splendid 42 not out with good support from Rob Davies.
A derby awaits on Saturday when Stourport take on Kidderminster Victoria for the first time since their promotion.
