BRINTONS triumphed in a Worcestershire League Division Five derby over Stone on Saturday by a big 117-run margin.
Stone were dismissed for just 92 as their batsmen, who failed to score more than 15 individually, failed to get to grips with Brintons' opening bowling attack.
The Kidderminster side had totalled 209 in 43 overs, thanks to an excellent innings from captain Neil Waldron (64).
Brintons made 50 runs in the first 11 overs with Mark Turner scoring 46 and then Andy Maiden added 36 with Mike Brazier (5-31) the only Stone bowler to show any form.
The 24-point haul guided Brintons to the top of the table.
Brintons 209, Stone 92.
Stone beat visiting Henley-in-Arden by 26 runs in a friendly on Sunday with the help of a superb opening stand.
Simon Drew (32) and Bob Batsford (30) put together 83 runs but wickets then fell quickly to reduce Stone to 114-6 at one stage.
But a bright knock of 28 not out by Brazier steadied them and Stone were 158-7 at tea.
In reply, Henley started poorly, losing three wickets for 20 runs, and Brazier continued his fine form of the weekend with 4-16 to bowl out Henley for 132.
Stone 158-7, Henley 132.
Meanwhile, Cutnall Green's Division Five match with Highley on Saturday was abandoned.
The villagers seconds' game with Hallow in Division Six and Cleobury Mortimer's visit to Vine both failed to start as well.
