ART SOCIETY: The April demonstration was by Paul Hipkiss. The audience was impressed by the variety of ink and paint prints which can be produced in a very professional way with the aid of a small roller and wooden spoon. The demonstration on Wednesday is Watercolour Seascapes by Terry Culpan - timely for a few hints before the holidays.
The annual Spring Exhibition of paintings is at the United Reformed Church Hall, High Street, Broadway, from 2pm on Saturday, May 29, to 5pm on Monday, May 31. The society looks forward to a good display of varied subject matter of local interest.
Outdoor painting days have started on the second and fourth Wednesdays in the month.
Evesham Art Society meets at the Friends Meeting House, Cowl Street, at 7.15pm for 7.30pm on the third Wednesday of each month except December. Non-members welcome - entrance £2 to include coffee and biscuits.
