ATHLETICS: Sarah Armstrong picked up second spot in the over-35 ladies section at the largest mid-week road race in the Midlands.
The Amazing Feet member joined 16 club-mates in nearly 1,000 runners at the Dudley-Kingswinford 10km for the club's fifth event of their 2004 race league.
Armstrong was 224th overall in 44 minutes 35 seconds, while 92nd-placed Eddie Sanders was eighth over-50 male in 39-44.
Roger Canavan finished eighth over-60 male and 342nd in 47-46, while newcomer Phil Bubb was 209th in his first race for the club, running 44-14.

Lewis climbed two places in the race league to third with 126 points, behind E Sanders on 140 and Amos on 146.
Armstrong extended her lead in the ladies' section with 124 points, ahead of Faye Evans on 79 and Heather Harrison on 67.
Humphries ran a fine 35-22 at the Watford 10km for third place and a personal best, while Baker did 40-48 for 129th position at the May Day Five in Coventry.
Gordon Sims recorded 48-27 for 140th at the Crowle 10km.
