INNOVATIVE students at Droitwich Spa High School have presented their business in front of the Hereford and Worcester Strategic board.
The honour, as part of their ongoing success in the Young Enterprise scheme, saw students showing off their company called SilverWings.
SilverWings has been trading over the school year, producing greeting cards, decorative boxes and wind chimes, to be sold at a range of events in and out of school.
The company was successful enough to be one of nine companies to be chosen to go forward to the South Worcestershire area board final of the initiative, which took place on Wednesday, April 28.
The students' eight-minute presentation to 200 people included responding to some tough questions from the judges.
Three of the nine companies, including SilverWings were chosen to present at the Hereford and Worcester Strategic Board yesterday.
"The company has really worked hard to understand the processes of business and to make the biggest success possible of their company," said Jane Cluley, staff advisor to the project.
