A GROUP of Worcestershire women will be stripping down to their bras to power walk for charity.
Staff and friends from Discover Travel and Tours will walk a marathon distance of 26.2 miles on Saturday in the Playtex Moonwalk to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, a charity dedicated to breast cancer research and care.
Michaela Scheffler, Jennifer Henderson, Helen Coombey-Jones, Christine Smith and Linda Shepherd, known as the Duracell Bunny Girls, will start the walk at midnight with around 15,000 other women.
"It will be quite a liberating experience," said Miss Henderson who works at the tour operator in Pierpoint Street, Worcester.
"We've been in training since January so we're quite optimistic, but a little nervous. We believe in the charity and will make sure we do the 26 miles together."
To sponsor the women, call 0870 2258045, or visit their website at www.bmycharity.com/V2/duracellbunny.
