A KIDDERMINSTER restaurateur has received a racist phone call and had his premises bombarded with eggs.
Police are seeking information following the incidents at the unnamed Comberton Hill restaurant.
Eggs were thrown at the restaurant several times throughout April and soon after 11.30pm on Saturday, May 1.
The racially aggravated phone call was received earlier that evening.
PC Stephen Carrier, of Kidderminster police, said: "Egg throwing may sound trivial but can be distressing to those being targeted, particularly if the motive is racially aggravated."
He added a group of youths was seen near the restaurant on one occasion as eggs were thrown and the police were appealing for witnesses.
Anyone with information can contact PC Carrier on 08457 444888 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
