I READ with interest Patrick Harris's letter "Town should be proud of itself" (Shuttle/Times and News, May 6).
The populace of Stourport who came to his aid and local NHS staff who treated his injuries can indeed be proud of their prompt concern and action.
But would not Stourport be a place of which to be much prouder if its streets were not strewn with "discarded potato chips" in the first place?
