BRINTONS CI Social had a disappointing time in mid-week cup fixtures.

The Kidderminster and District League Sunday Premier Division team were beaten 3-1 in the Roy Marchant Cup semi-finals by Oakham.

Social suffered the same fate in the Worcester Infirmary Junior final against Bromley.

To complete their woe, Brintons were also beaten 6-0 at home by Woodside in a league match.

Briars Phoenix went down 2-1 to Nunnery Wood Sports in the Worcester Infirmary Cup Final.

The winner arrived five minutes from the end after Gareth Duggan had headed Briars' only goal.

But they can make amends on Sunday against Causeway in the Kidderminster Hospital Minor Cup Final.
