A MAN was hit on the head after being appro-ached by two men asking for drugs in Abbey Park, Evesham.
Police said the victim and a colleague were walking through the park at about 10pm on Thursday, April 24, when they were approached by two men.
One man asked the victim if he had any dope and when he said he hadn't, the second of the two strangers hit him over the head with a hard object, possibly a bottle.
The man received two stitches for a cut to his head at Evesham Community Hospital and was released. His colleague was unhurt.
Police spokesman Richard Bull said: "It was extremely dark at the time of the incident and the only description we have is that the men were white and possibly aged between 16 and 22. The victim did not recognise his attacker or his companion."
