TALENTED musicians and singers are being offered the chance to showcase their music at this year's Shipston Proms this summer.
The annual music festival, which runs from June 23 to July 3 and features music to cater for all tastes from classical to rock 'n' roll, is featuring a Fame contest.
The prize for the winner will be an appearance on the open-air stage on the final night of the event and a recording session.
The competition is open to anyone, including bands, soloists and duos and the any sort of music will be considered. There are no age limits for entrants.

The last night of this year's proms will have a young musician theme and will feature the Yellow and Blues Band - a group of six 12 to 14-year-olds who have played on Paul Jones' Radio 2 rhythm and blues show, and local band Soul'd.
Other proms highlights include a concert by Rhapsody in Red, a classical comedy combo, in St Edmund's Church, Shipston on Saturday, June 26, the popular Songs from the Shows at Townsend Hall on Friday, July 2 and several classical concerts and folk music concerts.
