The Spring group meeting was hosted by Cutnall Green in the memorial hall.

Judy Neale, executive member of the Worcestershire Federation and chairman of the performing arts committee, spoke about the wide range of activities it is involved in and the vast experience of its members.

She outlined some of the day's activities which are being planned.

She also reminded members that committee members are all willing to help any WI.

The forthcoming Variety Playhouse at the Rose Theatre, Kidderminster, evolved through workshops which included sketches, songs and dance.

Mrs Neale urged members to purchase tickets for the event.

Entertainment was provided by a duo, known as Dandy.

The pair sang songs, and gave observations on life, and told jokes, often delivered in Black Country style.
