KIDDERMINSTER milkmen have helped deliver cash for the Red Cross during a week-long fund-raising event.
The Kidderminster depot was one of nine in the Midlands Co-op group collecting donation envelopes along with milk bottles during the recent British Red Cross Week.
The envelopes were distributed to more than 92,000 homes across the Midlands.
This year's campaign - called Then and Now - aimed to explain the organisation's work over the past 60 years, along with raising attention for unknown Red Cross heroes.
The money raised will go towards services and directly benefit the community in ways such as first aid, fire victim support and youth and schools work.
