A WOMAN is believed to have suffered a broken leg after her car was involved in a collision with a police car in Cutnall Green.
The crash occurred at about 2.30pm on Tuesday afternoon on the A442 and firefighters assisted in freeing the drivers.
The marked police car involved, a Vauxhall Astra, was travelling towards Droitwich, while the other vehicle, a red Peugeot 205, was travelling towards Kidderminster. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The County Air Ambulance attended but was not needed, because both drivers were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by land ambulance.
The driver of the police car suffered whiplash and shock.
The road was closed for about three-and-a-half hours and an investigation was under way.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the vehicles before the crash to contact them on 08457 444888.
