MAJESTIC batsman Stephen Bilboe has driven his way into this year's Wisden cricket record books.
Bilboe was one of just two boys in British schools cricket to make more than 1,000 runs in 2003.
The Kidderminster 17-year-old was the youngest pupil at King's School, Worcester, to achieve the feat which included nine half-centuries in his last 12 innings.
Bilboe has captained Worcestershire's U-17s but was unable to beat off strong opposition to get into the county academy.
But his father Terry said: "Stephen's hoping to get a game for the county seconds and also play some first-team games for Kidderminster Victoria later in the season."
The former Victoria and Blakeley Hall Cricket Club youth teamer is also a keen school rugby player and has played county golf.
